Overview

The 67th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference (CPC) will be hosted by the Parliament of New South Wales and the CPA New South Wales Branch in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia from 3 to 8 November 2024. 

The 67th CPC will be held under the main theme of 'Engage, Empower, Sustain: Charting the Course for Resilient Democracy'.

Elections

During the conference, a number of elections will take place:

  • Election of the CPA Chairperson - this will take place during the CPA General Assembly on 7 November 2024 at the 67th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference (only official CPC Branch delegates can vote). Please click here for further information.
  • Election of the CPA Small Branches Chairperson - this will take place during the 40th CPA Small Branches Conference on 4 November 2024 (only official CPA Small Branches delegates can vote). Please click here for further information
  • Election of the CPA Vice-Chairperson - this will take place during the new CPA Executive Committee meeting on 7 November 2024 (only CPA Executive Committee Members can vote). 

Invitations, Nominations and Registration 

  • Invitations to the 67th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference have been issued to all eligible CPA Branches from the CPA President on behalf of the host Branch, CPA New South Wales.
  • Registrations for the 67th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference should have now been made by each CPA Branch in advance of the Conference. If you have any questions, please email cpc@cpahq.org
