About the Environmental Impact Fund

The Commonwealth Parliamentary Association Environmental Impact Fund is dedicated to the financing of projects in CPA Branches that adhere to environmental best practices and align with the CPA’s commitment to reducing its carbon footprint. A central aim of the Fund is to support Member Branches in their efforts towards achieving net-zero emissions, in line with global sustainability efforts.

The CPA Environmental Impact Fund will operate on a merit-based selection process, evaluating projects on their alignment with the CPA’s environmental objectives, potential impact and innovative approach.

There are two types of bids a Branch can make:

  • Small-Scale Projects: Bids ranging from £500 to £5,000 GBP, aimed at supporting initiatives that can make immediate, localised impacts.
  • Large-Scale Projects: Bids ranging from £5,001 to £20,000 GBP, designed for more substantial initiatives with the potential for broader environmental benefits.

We will only accept bids submitted by the institution's central authority (the Clerk's Office/CPA Desk).
