Overview
The UN SDG Summit in September marks the halfway point of Agenda 2030, yet achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is still very far off the mark and its future quite unclear.
This webinar will explore a roadmap to forecast sustainable development post-2030. It will look at the positives and negatives of the current SDGs and identify important lessons learned to overcome future risks and exploit future opportunities. Panellists will explore various possible scenarios post-2030, analysing both multilateral stakeholder and governance perspectives on the future of the sustainable development goals.
The UN SDG Summit will also be an opportunity to discuss the mid- to long-term shape of sustainable development, and it is essential that Parliamentarians are at the forefront of these deliberations. They must feel a sense of ownership over the design and delivery of any new Goals are that produced, and other future planning.
