Nomination Form: Advanced Professional Development & Skills-building Residency Programme

Dates: 23 February – 1 March 2025

Location: Valletta, Malta

Target Audience: Parliamentarians

Spaces Available: Each CPA Branch may nominate up to two Members for consideration.

Useful Information
  • Complete the Nomination Form and submit it to the CPA Headquarters Secretariat by Friday, 6 December 2024. Due to limited spaces, applications received after this date may be held as reserves.
  • Direct Enquiries: If Parliamentarians reach out directly to the CPA Secretariat, they will be instructed to apply formally through their Branch Secretary.
  • Once reviewed, Branch Secretaries will:

    • Receive notification of accepted nominations.
    • Be provided with a link to the Event Registration Form.

  • Registration: Branch Secretaries and/or applicants must complete the Event Registration Form, including travel itineraries and biographical information.

Please provide the nominee's full name as you would wish it to appear in all communications and materials including prefix and honorific suffix. For example, Hon. Jane Bloggs MLA.
This will be the email address that will be used on the CPA Portal. This should be unique to the Branch contact email address.
Please tell us when the nominee was first elected to their current role and how long they have been a Parliamentarian.
This answer will assist the CPA Headquarters in determining whether to short list this nominee over others.

Agreement
To qualify for the Residency Programme, nominees must complete the CPA Parliamentary Professional Development Certificate (comprising four courses) on the CPA Parliamentary Academy. Nominees who do not complete the certificate by the specified date will not be eligible for final acceptance into the programme. Only nominations meeting this requirement will be processed.
