International Women's Day is celebrated in many countries around the world. It is a day when women are recognised for their achievements without regard to divisions, whether national, ethnic, linguistic, cultural, economic or political.
The CPA will be celebrating International Women's Day through several online campaigns recognising the achievements of women in Parliaments across the Commonwealth.
We are also co-hosting an event with the Institute of Commonwealth Studies and the High Commission of Canada on combatting online harassment of women parliamentarians.
