International Women's Day is celebrated every year on 8 March. It is an opportunity to celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women and issue a call to action for accelerating gender parity.

The Commonwealth Women Parliamentarians (CWP) network has produced Anti-Harassment Policy Guidelines for Commonwealth Parliaments. The guidelines are designed to help Parliaments, regardless of their experience or size, to promote and maintain an internal working environment that has a zero-tolerance approach to all forms of harassment.
