Nomination & Registration 

All CPA Branches have been invited to nominate up to two Members to attend this workshop. Nominations will open shortly.

Please note there are a limited number of spaces available. If you are a Member of Parliament from an active CPA Branch and wish to attend this event, please contact your CPA Branch Secretary.

Once the Nomination Form has been received and reviewed, CPA Branch Secretaries will be issued with a notification of the places which have been accepted.

Branch Secretaries will then be asked to complete the registration by completing the Event Registration Form which will include travel itineraries and biographical information.

Outcomes Report for the CWP Workshop ‘Champions for Gender Equality: Achieving Equal Participation in Commonwealth Parliaments’

The Commonwealth Women Parliamentarians (CWP) network has published its outcomes report from the three-day CWP Workshop hosted by the Parliament of Tanzania in Dar es Salaam from 6 to 8 December 2023.

By the end of the CPA programme, participants had enhanced their understanding of how to champion the equal participation of women and gender equality in the context of their own jurisdictions. 

CWP Gender Sensitising Parliaments Guidelines: Standards and a Checklist for Parliamentary Change

These guidelines have been created to help Commonwealth Parliaments to become gender sensitive institutions, providing legislatures with an outline of gender sensitising standards that they can look to achieve.
