Our Partners
The CPA works with a wide range of organisations to deliver programmes which strengthen Commonwealth parliaments, supports and promotes parliamentary democracy in accordance to the Commonwealth Charter and which aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals.
We are Permanent Representatives and Observers to a number of international and regional organisations such at the Inter-Parliamentary Union. Our goals are to ensure Commonwealth parliamentarians have an influential voice across the globe, especially those Members from small states and jurisdictions.
Our Strategic Plan recognises that partnering with organisations whose values align with ours would be crucial to our ability to achieve our vision efficiently and innovatively. By partnering with others, we expand our reach and impact, reduce duplication of effort, and lower programme costs whilst increasing our value add.
Working with Partners
Our approach to partnerships is anchored in our Partnership Framework. We set out our processes, systems, and means by which we will work with others to develop effective and innovation solutions which address our Parliamentarians and their staff’s needs. Before we engage with partners, we pre-screen for compatibility through due diligence and conflict of interest checks. Ultimately, we are committed to working with reputable entities who are equally dedicated to delivering high quality services for the benefit of all. Our framework therefore also sets out how we quality assure our products and engage with entities who equally share this value.
