During the 65th General Assembly, future CPA governance meetings and conferences were confirmed for 2023 and 2024.

Commonwealth Parliamentarian of the Year Award announced at 65th CPC

The first winner of the Commonwealth Parliamentarian of the Year Award has been announced at the 65th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference with Hon. Kate Doust, MLC from the Parliament of Western Australia being awarded with the 2022 Commonwealth Parliamentarian of the Year Award.

CPA Governance

Presentations for outgoing CPA Executive Committee Members conclude 65th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference 

At the conclusion of the 65th CPC in Canada, outgoing CPA Executive Committee Members were presented with commemorative plaques, traditionally donated by the CPA Malaysia Branch, to thank them for their service to the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association during their term of office. A full list of the new Members of the CPA Executive Committee is available on the CPA website.

In the interest of continuous improvement, the CPA and the CPC Hosts are keen to receive feedback on the 65th CPC.

Following the 65th CPC, the CPA Headquarters Secretariat will be conducting a review of the CPC modalities. In determining what changes may be required moving forward, it is vital for us to receive input and feedback from participants, especially the CPA Membership.
